Re: Slow NVDA responses in ribbons
Hello,
I’m running NVDA 2016/4 with Office 2016 and can’t see any sluggish behavior when navigating the ribbons in Excel or Word. It is all superfast for me.
Cheers,
Ralf

Re: Slow NVDA responses in ribbons
What was it that you downgraded to version 8.3?
There is no version of NVDA named 8.3, and Office 2010 and Office 2016 are, well,
versions 2010 and 2016 (unless there's some hidden version number

Re: Keep up with NV Access through "In-Process", our new blog
Hi Ben,
Yes that looks like it should work! Week 2 and we've already fallen a week behind in it - although we usually have our weekly meeting on a Thursday and the contents for In Process comes out

Also the English Braille table needs to be harmonized. For output
there is UEB but not for input. So if one wants to edit it cannot be
done using the Braille Edge.

Hi,
NVDA and HIMS people are aware of this problem. We don't know when the fix will be out, and it requires changes to drivers and support routines for Edge and Braille Sense

Hi,
I use Braille Edge with NVDA, too.
When in terminal mode you can't use Braille Edge to do anything, as
far as I am aware of. You'll need to use your laptop or desktop arrow
keys to move

I was not aware of the need for it in window eyes myself, but certainly as I say, it did seem to me that people who write Java stuff do not appreciate that they have to write it with access bridge in
