Well I just removed and installed the official version.
The main reason is that the official ones usually autoupdate securely, and then I killed the other version.

...It's a messy thing though.
I've trying to update to Version 9.5 for the last twenty minutes, without being able to find the actual add-on on this horrible Mozilla Add-ons thingy.

It's good to see that the original developers have updated the add-on with digital signature, but it's also weird that it does not turn up in an add-ons search from within Firefox

Yes. Webvisum 0.9.5 is now available on the Firefox add-ons site from the
official developers:

What I meant to say was this. Reformat if it's your last resort. Try to remember what you installed witch caused your problem. If it's whatever it is you last installed. Then uninstall the last thing

Yes seen the same error, but it does say ignored, however its not ignored insofar as when running in a snapshot, you still hear it.
