Re: Problem with Outlook
Thanks. Seemed that I tried that solution, but without success. I couldn’t swear to it though. I just tried replicating the issue, and things seem to be working the way they should at the moment.

Re: Problem with Outlook
I have asked about this on a tech geek group, and so far no one can match the description to a behavior they've encountered.
My quick and dirty suggestion for a possible workaround that doesn't

Re: Problem with Outlook
You might want to ask on the office for accessibility group. I don’t have the groups.io website open but I’m sure I have that link somewhere.

Problem with Outlook
I have Windows 10 and Office 365 on my PC. A recent update must’ve changed things, because now when I arrow through my list of emails, if I stop on one item for more than a second or two, it pops up

Re: NVDA and portable keyboards
Hi Dr Sharad,
Good question - the answer is yes, as long as the computer recognises the keyboard, then it will work fine with NVDA, even with more keys than the original keyboard. One thing to note

Hi my name is Jacques and I'm blind and I'd like to know if there are any emulators with google play store included in them that could work with NVDA?

Re: Audio ducking not supported?
On the subject of soundcards and enhancements I am getting used to my v7 sound card with enhancements for 7.1 because it supports it.
Its a different style of playing games, thats for sure, doesn't

Hi,
Go into your soundcard's properties, right arrow to the Enhancements tab and uncheck all the boxes in there, such as effects.
All the best

Re: NVDA 2021.2 is now available
No, this doesn’t work where a link expands an existing page.
For that, you would press NVDA+Enter to expand it.

Re: point to consider with NVDA2021.2 and eSpeak
As we all know, audio of any type comes down to a personal preference.
After using Eloquence for over a decade I reached the point that I
couldn't stand it. ESpeak has so many variants one can choose

Re: regarding adding my voice as an variant of nvda

I'll freely admit I didn't:
1. Because it's not NVDA related in any meaningful sense.
2. I cannot think of anything more annoying, to myself (others will differ), than listening to my own voice
