What is the major change in the beta
I understood that switching to python 3 was a major change for NVDA. So my Question now is what has caused the major change in Nvda to cause issues with addons and such?

I haven't seen those articles, but the arbiter is Github which has accepted and hosted the project(s) with zero issues. And with most of them users are responsible for the provision of the drivers.
