Evidently, you are using aphysical mouse. My question is, if you are using a physical mouse, why does the difference matter?

Well not sure but after the latest windows apps updates the last one maybe the one before bits of nvda on some of my desktop units were not working right and I had to recreate my config.

I think I solved this issue. Once I knew that the info I needed was in the status bar I read that. Sometimes I wish people knew control names better, LOL.

What I am referring to is the punctuation. For example, when JAWS is set on speak word, it still says the punctuation when typing. It was just a thought for NVDA.

Thanks, I can try that. I tried NVDA’s OCR and it didn’t work. I’ve also tried to find anything about recording properties under the menus and there doesn’t seem to be anything there.

Looking back, I don't think I explained myself well.
What I mean is when punctuation is typed before or after the word, the word will be spoken along with the punctuation.

Check for updates is off by default so I doubt this will cause problems. I don't have an opinion about whether the feature should be present.
