If the email isn't private, or at least the chunk of it where the link resides, either forward me the whole message or copy the sentences surrounding and including it, and send that.

It is the actual link to the file. It just says "link download" and it plays the file for you when you click on it.

It does not come across as a link when I try control-C. I had tried that before asking my question. I have spent almost an hour on this.

I just saw Brian’s message and I should have said that what I described iss if the link is written out, not a link that says click here or some other text that isn’t the actual written out link.

Why not use the standard Windows keyboard shortcuts to select the text, copy it to the clipboard, and then paste it wherever?
If the link is on one line, you would go CTRL+Shift+End to select,

Also in Windows 7, you can use speak current object, numpad 8 in desktop keyboard mode. You get less verbiage and it is a one hand command.

I just tried it and I do get to an ftp directory. However, the file names are in "geek speak" format and make no sense to me. I don't know which file I need to download in order to install

Having a key to refresh the buffer is not really a solution because it is really MSAA events that are involved in announcing clock icon refreshes.

Well time does update but a bit slowley but yeah.
Who knows.
Its not a big thing and I havn't changed anything as such.
