Re: query
Chris Mullins
Hi Anthony Use the h and shift+h key to jump between the section headings within the manual then you can just read the parts you are interested in using the arrow keys. Use NVDA key+downarrow to start NVDA reading continuously. When continuous reading is in effect, you can use the shift key like a pause/play button or the control key to stop continuous reading mode. To move around within a table control, you navigate using Control+alt+arrow key commands. Up/down arrows are used to navigate rows and left-right for columns. Don’t forget, you must hold down control+Alt then press the appropriate arrow key to move around a table.
Cheers Chris

Hi
I guess it would depend if the program is supported or not. I just tried notepad it is not supported there for formatting
I just tried word pad and it gave me the size etc.
I do not have libra office so do not know.
I do have microsoft word and it is. Have you also had a look under the document formatting section in NVDA to see if those check boxes are checked? that you want to hear? Gene nz On 7/4/2017 2:56 AM, The Gamages wrote:

Re: difference between Vocalizer and Vocalizer Expressive
David Griffith
My understanding and experience is that Expressive Voices are more responsive to grammatical forms, so if there is an exclamation mark in the text with certain words you will get a more expressive voice, similarly for a question mark. So for example loading Alison Expressive and typing help! On a single line in Word will produce a dramatic shouting affect which you would not get with traditional TTS.
That has certainly been my experience but this does relates to the Expressive Voices shipped and tied to Jaws 18 so mileage may vary with other products.

The only comparison I can make is with the Vocalizer and Vocalizer expressive voices I bought for Window Eyes. There isn't a whole lot of difference. My opinion is if you have Vocalizer you don't need to spend the money for Vocalizer Expressive. With the ones for WE I think there was more voices with the Vocalizer if memory serves me right.
