I doubt it's most sites. Many major sites use HTML 5 but a lot of sites still use only Flash.
Anyone who cares about audio listening is cutting off their nose to spite their face by not having Flash available. If you don't want to have the risk of being exposed to malicious Flash in advertising, tell Flash not to run or tell it to ask before running. Increasingly, this isn't necessarty because browsers are increasingly not running Flash content such as advertising unless the user takes an action to have it run. Of course, you need to be using a recent version of the browser. Internet Explorer, which is becoming increasingly archaic, doesn't have this feature.
I'm not saying that audio or audio/video material can't have malicious content but if you use reputable sites, it is unlikely. Flash advertising has a higher chance of being malicious and it slows down loading of pages and may cause crashes. If your browser doesn't automatically stop it from running, you may want to change the setting in the plugin. For those who use Ad Blockers or script blockers, you are blocking Flash advertising in general except on white listed sites.

That isn't how most screen-readers work. I
used to try to encourage that this feature be properly implemented by advocating
for it here but I've given up. JAWS knows when a copy or paste has been
actually done and doesn't report it otherwise. So does System
Access. I don't recall what Window-eyes does but since both JAWS and
System
Acceess can do it, I would think it would be within
reason to have NVDA do it.

Of course it's compatible with Windows 10.
There is a problem with Flash crashinggg when using
Firefox. I don't know much about it but others can probably propose
solutions. Or your friend can look up the problem by doing a Google
search. She shouldn't download anything from sites that offer to correct
problems but she will find discussions on reputable sites such as Bleeping
Computer in the results.
As for why one specific site doesn't work, I don't
know.

there is the addon, but it will say "paste" also if you don't paste any text. So keep in mind that it works, but you don't really know if you have copied or pasted the text. It says "copy" when you press ctrl-c.

I've never had any issues with it. Flash player is a whole other story though. That very much depends on which version of the flash player is on it. I've noticed recently that on any machine, any attempt to update flash player fails and the adobe site then asks you to download a flash player removal tool before you try to install again. I've not tried this in 10, but really 10 is only a souped up windows 8 in any case.

Re: Does firefox work with windows ten?
Jacob Kruger
Firefox - v 51 - works fine here on my windows 10 64 bit machine, along with chrome, IE11 and opera, since I use different browsers for different activities.
And, for example, on youTube, flash works fine in firefox, but, on that site, it firstly told me to update to a newer version of flash player, and, then went back to that site, it firstly did crash flash player, and, then when restarted firefox, it told me that content is unavailable unless you're located in Canada.
In other words, don't think problem is with firefox, but, with that site, or something.
Stay well

Most sites will work with it, from time to time firefox and chrome won't work with a site that doesn't support it but most sites do. If a site doesn't work you need to ask its admins to support other brousers than ie and edge and things. It may take a while but eventually stuff that didn't will support most things.
