Re: Suggesting several features for GoldWave AddON
Actually, I have been using gold wave like that for years! It may even be a gold wave keystroke, not a screenreader one.

Re: Suggesting several features for GoldWave AddON
Sadly I tried awhile ago today, while having several files opoen, Alt+numbers but no go, thus maybe it has to do with the Shark's scripts? thus could this be implemented somehow into the GoldWave

Re: is the mail app accessible in windows 10
I tried this in the latest snapshot, but it was hit and miss. The mail app quit on me and I got the NVDA piano error sound. I opened it up again and it read fine with NVDA plus downarrow. I

Re: Suggesting several features for GoldWave AddON
Hi,
Just tested it using GoldWave 6. Adding this function isn't hard - one will
need to use object navigation. Due to the version I'm supporting, this will
be exclusive to GoldWave 5.70 and later

Re: NVDA2016.1 questions
Chris I think you are referring to the freezing of iTunes 12.03 when you are looking around in the store and Apple Music? I am still dealing with that here in 2016.1. I thought this was resolved, but

Re: NVDA2016.1 questions
Dan it doesn't need an add-on. JFW and System Access works fine with it. The only thing that bothered me and is now fixed is the refreshing in the iTunes Store and Apple Music. Now for NVDA to quit

The notify mail sound
To Robin and others. You are onto something here. I noticed there is indeed less base in the notify new mail sound. My speakers don't radle anymore. It was a slight raddle however. Glad it has less

Re: The notify mail sound
Hi,
I'm glad I wasn't imagining it. I miss the old sound myself it was easier to hear from a few rooms away.
Oh well.
Thanks for confirming it though (smile).

Re: Suggesting several features for GoldWave AddON
Wow that's great! Looking forward to its implementation! Amazing what a difference a feature suggestion makes, especially within the NVDA community, community which is an honor to be a part of!

Re: The notify mail sound
Naa I like it the way it is now. I thought the old one was too loud. I don't have my speaker volume up that loud normally.

Re: Suggesting several features for GoldWave AddON
Hi,
Before I can work on this: for those using GoldWave 5.70, can you confirm if
Alt+1 through 9 are native commands? If not, I'll support that version
(I'll be using 6.x for most of my development).

Re: NVDA2016.1 questions
Lino,
That is exactly what I'm referring to. I think I'll download JAWS and give it a spin with iTunes if you say it does good with NVDA.
