Re: Very basic question.
Hi,
Press NVDA plus control plus F, then type what you wish, and then press enter. By default, Insert is the NVDA modifier key.
Hope this helps.

Re: Very basic question.
Try NVDA+CONTROL+F. This will open the find dialog on websites and you can do your search.

Thank you, I have used NVDA for isolated instances, but plan to use it more to get more of a feel for its parameters.

Well I suppose that all depends on the software you use and what you use them for. I think its still fair to say sometimes nvda can be slower in some office applications, but then some may not notice

Judy,
This may also end up being a "tool to task" situation, too. I've seen both NVDA and JAWS be better at doing one thing or another, and if you know that you'll be doing that one

Re: In regard to "The Reboot" and Topics
That's an excellent question, and I'll get back to you after I've had a chance to get an answer from the Group Manager's Forum. I don't know of any, but that does not mean it does not exist.

In JAWS, you can define graphics. You can't in NVDA. As far as I know, because I'm not using a recent version, you can't, in NVDA, change the order in which information is spoken such as button
