Re: add ons to copy the text on team talk
What happens if you go to the read field where the message is, go with the cursor to the point where the message starts then do a shift+end command?

NVDA works with Office. It may be more limited than JAWS in terms of available features in Office, but it can do a reasonable amount.
A lot of what you do with any screen-reader is the same or

Re: start and End Markers for Selecting Text
The only time I use the NVDA method is when in object navigation, where the arrow keys won't let me navigate through, but where there is still text I want to copy to the clipboard.

Re: start and End Markers for Selecting Text
I thought there was such a command, though I wasn't sure. There is one in JAWS and it may be that that is why I thought NVDA had one. We'll see if anyone knows such a command.

I don't have that problem. I can select as much text as I want and, if I pause, NVDA tells me the last text I have selected. If this is a problem, that NVDA doesn't read the last text selected

Re: spell check ... how do I see the misspelled word?
Hi Ann,
As you say, the spell check in Word shows each spelling correction very
clearly. To see the original word, I just press escape and I find that the
offending misspelling is in focus by NVDA.

Re: RES: [nvda] start and End Markers for Selecting Text
It isn’t unnecessary work. It is what you are used to. There is no meaningful difference between moving with the arrow keys while holding shift and moving with the screen review commands.

As far as I know, there is a command for reading what you have selected before you copy it to the clipboard. I don’t know what that is. If I am right, others should know.
Aside from that, why
