Re: NVDA not read anything in any browser.
Depends if you have fast startup enabled or not,
But to be sure I advise to restart rather than shut down if you have fast startup enabled
If you are not sure then restart is recommended

Hi, Annette,
I used to be a medical transcriber years ago and at that time we didn't have the technology we have now. You had to be both a top-notch typist and speller.

When you run that tool, are you supposed to shut down or restart? I ran it the other day and for the most part it's working better, but I'm still hearing "Unknown" from time to time. I shut

One of the advantages for me as a kid in school was that I was made to write out the spelling words in grade one Braille, both when words were introduced to me and during spelling tests. I'd

I was also proud of the fact that my spellchecker didn't alert me to any spelling mistakes. LOL!

I would also note that because someone is using an email classifier that changes the subject line that there are now two parallel topics. If muting you'll have to do so from each.

However, if you want to leave because of this thread, I'm planning to ask that it stop at the end of today. It's an interesting thread but

Why not mute the occasional topic if it's not of interest? That link is at the end of every message, too.

I think one reason people spell it as capture is because many English accents or dialects don't pronounce r's at the end of words. So captcha and capture sound identical or very similar.
