It does indeed work, but it requires that you are running the beta for now. It will be part of the next stable version of NVDA. I just used it to set NVDA+J as my mute key.

It doesn't happen when I use JAWS and Edge.
It seems not to be Chromium related. In Chrome I don't have these issues.

Replying in the groups.io web editor to test your issues. Firstly, if you installed the beta and didn't intend to, you can either leave it, and it will update to the release candidate(s)

Well, the machine will be locked down to the company, but yeah, if its
a windows system you can use nvda on it though you will need an admin
to install it, not sure.
