Re: nvda and app windows not closing
Well some of those are open in background you need to go to background apps and unselect or select the apps you want in privacy, its good I guess if you want to have all your startups in 1 place.

Re: Skype 8 for desktop answering incoming call?
Alt page up is the default keyboard shortcut to answer phone calls.
However, you need to enable hot keys in Skype options in order to use
it, as this isn't generally checked by default.

I guess that’s a solution, but that’s not exactly encouraging. You figure for such an essential command, there would be a hotkey for it that would work outside of the program itself. I mean it

I couldn't get it to save my book marks in the respective folder no matter how many times I told it to this is one of the huge huge reasons why I don't use water fox of course if I can rfix this issue

Re: nvda and app windows not closing
Hi,
That’s because universal apps are not really “closed” when you press Alt+F4 – they are suspended, hence these windows will show up via object navigation.
Cheers,
Joseph

Re: Tips for speed reading /listening with screen readers
Hi George,
I would love to try out this voice. Can you please give instructions about how to install it? And can you point to information about how to change and test voices Espeak uses?

We write it the way we say it.
If someone asks us the date we would say:
June 11
Or November 6.

Re: NVDA vs. Narrator: NVDA still wins.
Honestly, I'm not knocking them for trying. I don't see myself switching
from NVDA even if Narrator gets to be a viable screen reader. But we
should want it to be and probably get familiar with it,

Your argument has a flaw. Microsoft will never buy code factory’s stuff. And for yoru car argument, you would have to see if ther are any patents to do what you want to do, if you wanted to do it
