Re: nvdaremote is back up
I believe the server component of NVDA Remote has also been released as open
source code now as well, so it is possible to run your own equivalent of the
nvdaremote.com "middleman" on any machine

Hi,
NVDA Remote does not require nvdaremote.com or any other site. One can use the add-on to remote control a computer over one's own network, a VPN, or the internet, though the last is somewhat

Re: nvdaremote is back up
Sure it is.
I'm not sure if he's still going to work on it or what's happening there, but surely someone else can take over.
There's also an NVDA remote server that folks can run if they so choose

It's gone down before. It just won't connect.

Yes it does.
It has gone down in the past - sometimes for hours, sometimes less and sometimes more.

So does this actually rely on just one site to work. Is this not a bit risky in this day and age of cyber attacks?

Re: nvda very laggy on some websites with latest chrome
The biggest problem I am having with chrome is it is using a ton of memory.
If I leave it open for long enough, it will eventually bring this machine with 16 gb of ram to its knees. And

Re: Getting to Music, Photos & video files
Can you not use that useful master seeker and then open the containing folder? I'm sure I used to be able to do that in windows 10.
Maybe its a case of setting certain privileges correctly or
