Re: nvda speach keep stopping
Hi,
Okay, does this happen with all add-ons turned off 9including, perhaps, SPL add-on too)?
Cheers,
Joseph

You could have a valid point on video cards or even sound cards. It's known that different processors make a difference on what software is running

Re: A plea to NVDA developers
Personally I think that dialog should probably not save the response to it in nvda.ini and should be a separate configuration file because of this.

Use a keyboard for narrator all the time. Read the help, but basically it’s capslock up and down to move through the items words characters etc and narraotr left right to move through said items.

One of the real advantages of having automatically save settings off is that you can experiment with different settings and never worry about accidentally saving them. Or you can intentionally make

Re: A plea to NVDA developers
Which version are you running. All people with the last stable were asked as I recall. Its nothing sinister, its just feedback to find out where things are being used, what synths and what browsers

Re: A plea to NVDA developers
I wonder why it did not do it though, unless its been turned off. Maybe if autosave is turned off some options like this one need to be staored or a warning to the effect that it was not stored

You should not have an issue if you deal with the dialogue as normal.
I've been trying to duplicate this with both alpha and beta new branches but its not showing up more than the one time.

Re: A plea to NVDA developers
It will only ask once if you have NVDA set to automatically save settings on exit. I did not have mine set that way and I didn't think of manually saving settings. That was why I got it every time

Re: A plea to NVDA developers
Like I said. those using snaps will see it now master is beta and next is alpha, but hopefully not again as long as nothing but the version of the snap changes.
I cannot test master yet as it fails

It only asks me once here as long as its the samebranch or snap or whatever that is being run. If you are getting it all the time then something odd is going wrong. I've seen it when the new version
