Please explain a bit more. Did you try elements list with nvda-F7? Did you use browse mode keys to search for a checkbox? Also, though we can't get to the exact place you were, several banks

I had a look at the file on the player link, and it has a computed address for the file dependent on the parameters of the persons machine. It looks like a .og file to me as well.

I still need to know a few things though: NVDA version and add-on version you've got. If the dialog method works, then that is considered a workaround.

I'm in the opposite position from you, mainly using Firefox but tentatively experimenting with Chrome more and more. This is good to know as I use the goodreads site frequently, but haven't tested it

You will have to go to the add-ons site, and download the newest version of it and install it yourself. Some things changed in update routines.

With NVDA the menus in FineReader 12 are so slow that it is actually unusable. With Narrator it works a lot better. It is the same kind of situation like with Task Manager where NVDA is painfully

Long time ago I don't use FineReader 12...
and, normally, I use it more to read image files, such as PDF, JPG and so on, and that is done without messing with FineReader interface...
