lion universal subtitle reader and more NVDA addon
Hi,
I found this great addon. Please consider adding it into the community addons page. It lets you read subtitles. It’s like intelligent realtime OCR for NVDA that uses the windows10 OCR engine.

Hi Sarah
It’s worth a try on websites where you encounter these situations. Results will vary, but it might get you out of trouble. Of course, I always recommend providing respectful feedback

Also, I doubt that having something appear on a web page or change is classified as a focus change. it is a change on the page, and unless there is something like JAVA script on the page to force you

I doubt this can be generalized. What if the menu or whatever structure or additional information occurs on a very different part of the page. Your screen-reader won't read the information

It works quite well! Once you move the mouse to the element, you can navigate through the sub menu with arrows.

Re: Any way to decrease NVDA sounds except the voice?
You need to edit the sounds themselves.
Go to
c:\program files (x86)\nvda\waves
There you'll find the sounds.
I usually edit them with audacity.

Any way to decrease NVDA sounds except the voice?
Hi, I'd like the progress beeps and the focus mode sounds to sound lower. The voice is already at 100%, so raising the voice volume and lowering the general system volume is not an option

Hi. Not to worry. I am an avid user of Opera as well, and I too am not getting my address's bar propperly read by NVDA. And Jaws doesn't read it as well, so I am confident it is an Opera
