See if that is enough:
IO - external:globalPlugins.NVDAExtensionGlobalPlugin.commandKeysSelectiveAnnouncementAndRemanence.MyInputManager.executeKeyboardGesture (21:19:59.334) - winInputHook

Re: office 2019 word and nvda
It could be nice to have a debug level log of one of these cases where closing Word in this way results in other Windows elements, including Word, not working.
I was not able to replicate that

I actually don't bother with this at least with nvda.
I do a windows key and r for run and type nvda.
Make sure the shortcut is there and just run it.

Re: office 2019 word and nvda
Also for those having issues on the other list, with office, its a known bug, try running any office program, ie word and updating again.
There aparently is a way to get round that.

Re: office 2019 word and nvda
It happens to me sometimes, but not exactly when I close Office 19.
I can solve this openning the task manager with control + shift + esc and restarting windows explorer process.

Ok, I still am unsure what this is supposed to be showing me. Is it the process which is using the most resources, the process at the top of the list, etc?
Thanks.

Re: amazing tip from you guys on the task manager
You must activate the "More Details" control at the bottom if you want all processes (whether yours or not) to be displayed. This will also toggle the "More Details" control to a "Fewer Details"

Re: Control Alt N Not Working to Open NVDA
Hi David
Could you get your student to find the NVDA entry on the Desktop then press Alt+enter. This will open the properties window for the shortcut where you can tab to the shortcut hotkey key
