openoffice when i uninstalled, caused brows mode and in general using
firefox impossible.
but i dont have such issue with libreoffice.
both have portable versions.

yes, currently firefox uses gecko engin and in version 57 it changes to photon!

Actually, it might be that a message you cannot read has appeared and blocked it all up. I eventually discovered that in many cases, doing a desktop command then running task manager meant nvda would

Is it really a new engine or just a snazzy new name. I've not tried 57. Certainly 56 was a pain in the neck as a beta, and as they are not going to back port the focus fix then I'd suggest for daily

You say its in other applications. Is this mainly the context menus? That is often a pointer to some dll not registered if it happens all the time. Also sometimes even the nvda menu itself fails to

I think you would need to ask them that. However I suspect the uninstaller Open Office are using does not actually put things back as it was correctly, ie not registering dlls or forgetting to restore
