If you use the command control I to open the bookmarks search field, NVDA automatically treats it as though it is in forms mode. I don't know if it is, but it lets you type into the edit field. if

Maybe somebody might like to raise a ticket on Firefox then?
Alternatively, raise it in nvda and let one of the devs do it in Firefox. However if this issue affects 2017.2 differently to the latest

Well I'm running on Master and it only went pear shaped on this version of Firefox, so regardless whether its firefox or nvda here, something has obviously altered in Firefox as I've not updated

Re: question
Hi gene
What I told you is that I used to use the caps lock as an insert as well, not the insert key as a sticky key.
So now in NVDA I should start to use the insert key in some cases.
Thanks

I don't have 56. I have one of the 55 versions and I am told Firefox is up-to-date. But using the version I have, I have the same problem Brian discussed.

Are you talking about the bookmarks problem discussed in the quoted messages in this thread? The other problem, the page not being read is a different thread.
