I havn't tried this it does a bit more than standard office, document and pdf conversion and a few things.
It seems that from forums a lot of people that switched from ms office line

Why not just wear a pair of headphones when configuring the Alexa app
on your computer. That way the Alexa Echo wouldn't hear her name
being spoken by NVDA.

It still would be good in situations where stuff didn't kill.
Usually with windows.old folders on upgrades thats 10 days for a major update within win10 and a month for an os to os upgrade.

Yes there is a recovery partition which is needed for restoring laptops often use this.
There are ways of backing it up on dvds and or flash media.

Well windows 10 will usually kill those folders after a bit.
Usually they should go away, however, you can reset easily.
