Hi guys!
I use the Noah site as well, and I have the link right on my desktop. I love it, because I can hear the forecast just like on a weather radio. I use the weather + add on in NVDA a lot. It

What new sounds
Got the latest NVDA installed and I don't see any differences in any sounds created by NVDA. What am I missing here?

Re: installing NVDA on a machine with Window-eyes already installed
It shouldn't be a problem. I have both the latest build of NVDA on my old 7 box. And Jaws 14. Just don’t have them run at the same time. You can have one of your main screan readers run when your

Re: love the new sounds
Hi,
I’ll say here what I said on the development list. I have my own NVDA sounds, and the first time an update destroyed them I wasn’t best please. Yeah, my own stupid fault for not backing up,

A friend of mine uses Office 2003 and said that it doesn’t work with the latest version of NVDA, so he has gone back to the previous version.

A verbal prompt that brouse mode was on would be good. So long as there is some sort of indication that brouse mode is on, I don't see a problem with getting rid of sounds.

In my ioinion, some type os sound would be helpful because you don't always know if brouse mode is on or not.
I really don't see the point in changing the sounds. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Run the installer. Tab through the dialog and you will see that you mustg accept the license agreement. The next dialog gives you choices such as install, make portable version and continue running.

Re: installing NVDA on a machine with Window-eyes already installed
Since I'm on a Windows 10 machine, if you count Narrator which is built-in, I have four screen readers installed. The other three being JAWS, NVDA, and Window Eyes.
None has ever given me an issue

If NVDA had a jaws layout addon and a window eyes layout addon then it would work. or you could go into the input gestures dialog box and change NVDA keyboard gestures. that's the only way I can think
