Luke, Arlene here. I had both versions of NVDA 17.2 all the way to 19 something. But when my windows 7 died I lost all versions. The one I did get back was NVDA 19 something. I didn’t think it

Arlene, Zahra is correct. I keep a copy of 2017.3 around for add-on testing, and its basic functions work quite well under Windows 10 up to, at least, Win 10 version 1909.

If you press NVDA+4, or toggle "Speak command keys" in NVDA's keyboard settings, it will speak keys such as ENTER or CONTROL+S.

In a nutshell, it reregisters some dlls that might have some how become unregistered for lack of a better term. I would restart nvda, but I'm not sure if that really is necessary.

Nope. As fawr as I can tell, and I've ben using 2004 for about a week now, nvda actually works much much faster. Did you run the registration tool found in tools?
