Re: Windows Key commands not working?
What isn't working with SharpKeys? Remember that by default, the cmd key is mapped to Windows and the option key is mapped to alt.

Re: Windows Key commands not working?
"ALT GR" and "ALT" are not, as has already been mentioned, the same key and, as such, they're not labeled the same.
I would not call "ALT GR" anything but "ALT GR," as it is a thing of its own. I am

Yes Brian, certainly on UK English keyboards, the right alt key (labelled alt gr) is equivalent to pressing control + left alt. Particularly useful for touch typists using shortcuts where the target

Re: Windows Key commands not working?
If the key doesn't work to open the menus, it presumably doesn't work for other things such as object navigation commands or when executing the find command in browse mode, insert numpad control f.

Re: Windows Key commands not working?
Hello,
Actually, on some keyboards, the right ALT is called "ALT GR" and acts as CONTROL+ALT. So, there are such cases/keyboards, where pressing right ALT will act as CONTROL+ALT.

Re: different configuration profiles and different dictionaries
Hello Annemiek,
There's another version of the applications dictionary add-on,
tailored to work with profiles instead of applications.
Once installed, you just need to open the profile you want to

Re: Windows Key commands not working?
No, at least not unless someone assigns something custom to what it sends via a keyboard manager. I have never seen a default state on a keyboard that has two of anything (e.g. Shift, Ctrl, Alt)

It's just an amateur add-on developed by a NVDA user.

Re: Windows Key commands not working?
I don't see why. Since there are two alt keys on a keyboard and two control keys. Right alt should mean right alt.
