Importing NVDA's MS Word book
I purchased the NV Access new book on MS Word. I’m trying to download it into VoiceDream Reader on my iPhone. I’m getting the prompts to do that but it shows up in VoiceDream as “Error”. No

Re: Tweeking NVDA voices and function
The commands you have been talking about work fine in Microsoft Word and probably
with other processors. They don't work in Notepad for some reason, but that is okay.
What do you mean by NVDA key?

Re: Anyone ever thought about making NVDA recognize NVDA or nvda as its own acronym?
As I said before, using the ivan voice, NVDA is pronounced as individual letters regardless of case. All caps, All lower case, mixed case, makes no difference, it is still pronounced as n v d

Yes one thing I've been warned about by RNIB is if buying a new laptop particularly to have all the media keys disabled and put back to a standard function set.

Hi!
Some system tray processes which come pre-installed on new computers are quite aggressive and may eat up hotkeys. Have you checked if exiting some of them solves the problem?
Kind regards,
Felix

Oops! Thanks Gene! Yes, of course I did indeed mean NVDA+1 (the 1 key on the number row, not the one in the number pad). I must have eaten too much Easter chocolate (or not enough) :)
Quentin.

This is what Quenton is referring to. He put in a typo it is nvda key + 1
This is from the user manual.

You cannot attach stuff here. Best choice is to use dropbox and post a link in your post here.
Incidentally did you not post this same query already under a different subject
