Hmm, well after lots of problems with defender and other sundry programs falling over for no apparent reason I've gone back to the old build.

trying to recover from freeze:
Hi I was looking at my nvda.log file, and noticed that nvda was trying to recover from a freeze. I did get the error sound when nvda was started.

At this stage, it's a known issue with recent updates to Outlook - someone posted the exact version it changed on here recently so theoretically if you can rollback to before that update

It may not help but you could try putting the phrase in the speech dictionary and then placing a space in the pronounced as field. Do you hear these announcements when you use read current line or

To the best of my knowledge there is no way to get rid of this annoying notation.

On my machine, it only seemed to have taken off classicShell, but, I reinstalled it from latest version off their site, and working fine now.

Beware anniversary update for...
It will delete any Email client like the recently hacked version of Outlook express without even asking, including it seems, all the email in it, or at least orphaning it off. also deleted my copy of

There is an option in NVDA to make an installed version. make a portable version, as was suggested, and once it is on the other machine, install NVDA using the portable version.

The folder you refer to is the NVDA installation folder. You need to be looking in the equivalent folders of your own user folder. You should look in the appdata/roaming folder.
