Re: Windows 10 Anniversary Update
Hi, Quentin,
The easiest way for me to shut down is to go to the desktop, hit alt F-4 and hit enter. I also like the windows X, u and u keystroke too. It's similar to how you'd shut down in windows

Hi all,
For NVDA users, this event is also special in that this will be the first time you’ll get a chance to hear NVDA 2016.3 in action and fixes to let NVDA embrace Windows 10 Anniversary

The settings are laid out pretty much the same as they were. They have tweaked how large DPI is handled and also I have a new monitor so it now appears as a column instead of a grid on my screen, but

Hi Quentin,
Thank you so very much. I have been wondering what changes we will have in the new build. I like how the start area sounds being able to use first letter navigation to get through the all

Quentin,
I did not see your response when I was replying to Kevin just now. This explains the three dictionaries very clearly, thanks.
I have taken your advice and have included the dot after

Kevin,
That did the trick, thanks!
The full contraction includes the Letters capital C, lowercase 0 and the full stop. However, I found that the dictionary would not recognize these three

It depends on what application you are in. All review modes are not
available in all applications.
For example, if you are in the desktop, you will only have Screen

Re: [NVDA pronouncing "County" as "Company" in address line
Not sure you are right. I see cty a lot and never know, unless its obvious, if it is county or country.
There a lot of these expanded abbreviations in sapi5 and other synths, and the only way around

Hello,
In the past, I have recommended Sophos Home. It is cloud-based, and works quite well.
Thanks.
