Unfortunately that's my perceptions so far as well. I would have hoped
that prominent businesses would not be doing this as it alienates
customers but there you go.

Well you do need to install reinstall nvda uninstall first though but yeah it works.
Windows should in theory update all drivers and for most devices thats fine but some well it doesn't work till you

2020 is when 7 dies there are a few years still.
We still have time after the 29th of july under the accessability switchover aparently not sure how that will work or whatever.
I'd reserve my upgrade

I upgraded to win10 in August, and it wint great on both of my computers. They both had 8.1 on them, though. I have heard that there are more chances of drivers being out of date

I have upgraded so far 7 machines to windows 10 without assistance.
Actually when I think of it I thought the last machine had locked up so
reset it then i needed assistance to fix it.

Mainstream support means they are adding features and improvements to Windows. After this ends, extended support means no new features will be added, but security update and bug fixes will still come

I did it a bit over a month ago. You just check the I Agree to accept the license and make sure it is set to keep all current files and programs and then hit upgrade now or something like that and
