Re: is there app or addon for NVDA on windows 10 for previewing files
Hi,
Sometimes this info is shown as a tool tip, and I bet NVDA is not told to announce this. To change this, go to NVDA menu/Preferences/Settings/Object presentation and check “report tooltips”

Re: is there app or addon for NVDA on windows 10 for previewing files
Hi:
I have the same question, for with another screen reader I can see type and size of files, date last accessed, number of file within a directory/folder, etc. I know I did not change anything

is there app or addon for NVDA on windows 10 for previewing files
Hello,
one thing that constantly annoys me is when I am looking for a concrete file like a word document, I have to open the up in word or the respective application to take a look at the contents.

Re: BrailleNote Touch Plus Not Connecting Via Bluetooth
I tried forgetting and re-pairing the device yesterday, but it didn't work. In the braille preferences, I had it set to automatic. So, I selected BrailleNote Touch or something like that from the menu

I must agree, using win 10 is not bad at all once you get the hang of things.

Indeed. But, if it's Classic Shell (still downloadable, but not supported), now known as Open Shell and taken over by volunteers, or Start10 all of the above are accessible/have no impact on

Also, one more thing. These programs don't make parts of Windows 10 inaccessible. In fact, you can still access Windows 10 settings, the control panel, etc.
Thanks again.

Hello,
I have no idea what exactly you are asking, but there are programs which will change aspects of Windows 10 and make it appear like Windows 7. Classic start or classic shell or whatever is one

I doubt that, aside from speculation, the question can be answered properly without knowing the name of the program.

Hi,
Let’s discuss this further on the NVDA-SPL list, because I need slightly more time to go through this topic.
