True. I was suggesting using the bypass command with the selection commands as well. You selected the text using NVDA, which is known not to work.

And therein lies the issue. What I was trying to communicate earlier is that you cannot use NVDA itself to do the actual selection.
Personally, I think it makes a lot more sense to keep NVDA running,

I just tested it out, and it doesn't work. After I select the text using NVDA, i use NVDA+F2 to pass the next key through and then try to copy the text. Nothing gets copied though. I'm

my favorite version of nvda is 2017
and i havve no issue when using any version of browsers from older
versions to newer ones that work with xp.

The latest Google Chrome is 77.0.3865.90
The latest Brave is Version 0.68.142 Chromium: 77.0.3865.90
The latest Edge Dev is Build 79.0.287.2
I haven't had any issues with NVDA when I've been using it

Dennis. What version of Firefox do you have installed currently? The current version is 69.0.1. I don't use Chrome so someone else would have to answer that one. What seems tonnot work?

Without turning the screen reader off, can you do the same thing by using the keyboard bypass command before (each of) your other commands? In NVDA's case, the bypass command is NVDA+F2.
