I think I'm experiencing a similar, if not exactly the same, issue as well with the latest version of NVDA and Excel 2016/365.

Hi Don,
NVDA 2019.2 still uses Python 2 (the version of Python NVDA has always used). So everything which works in 2019.1 should continue to work just the same in 2019.2.

If you're using laptop hold down control shift plus NVDA and use the right arrow key until you find where it says pitch.
