Re: how can i set nvda that does not wrapp long hyperlinks?

Well, indeed this line, for example, is being presented as two lines:
Notepad++ Installer 32-bit x86: Take this one if you have no idea which one you should take. GPG Signature
But that's about it. Actually, what is on the second line is more of the description than something about the link itself. So on the other hand, it's not that big of a deal at all.

I think he is referring to the sapi5 decTalk on the flameOfHope website in the decTalk_reader1.iso file that you can extract and install using 7zip which you can easily get from www.ninite.com ... 7zip is on the ninite website. But I am not sure of the legality of that sapi5 decTalk, though.

Re: code factory voices addon

after you make any changes to your sapi5 vocalizer, close or shut off NVDA or k1000 or whatever sapi5 program you are using, then start it back up again. then choose sapi5 in the synthesizer dialog, then go to the voices dialog and you should upon arrowing through the combo box see your new voice or voices you chose to install.

If you purchase the Sapi5 voices why purchase the NVDA addon?

hi orlando,
no the bluetooth keyboard did not arrive in the mail yet. but when it does I will give my review of how it works with NVDA. I also had to change some NVDA keyboard commands because this tablet keyboard is so cheap some default laptop commands do not work.

Re: how can i set nvda that does not wrapp long hyperlinks?

I have zero problems with any link on this page.  I'm using NVDA 2019.1.1 under Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit, Version 1903, Build 18362.   The home page is actually https://notepad-plus-plus.org/, while the download page is https://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v7.7.1.html
(it barfs if one includes www as part of the URL).

I suspect one of the problems here is that the version of NVDA itself is ancient and unsupported.  Zahra has repeatedly stated she's using Windows XP and will not budge from it.  That brings in a huge number of problems directly related to both the operating system and the aged software that will still run under it.0q

Any version of NVDA that runs under Windows XP is likely to have a number of issues patched in later releases.

Zahra,
for example:
https://www.notepad-plus-plus.org
open download link and find the links that i mentioned in my previous email.
It may be just me, as Gene apparently managed to access this link. But whenever I try to access it I get an error in return. Is there another page like this one?

I went to the home page and then I followed the download link.  I found a link that says download on one line, then on the next line is a separate link giving the version.  I know they are separate links because one says visited and the other doesn't.  I very much doubt that NVDA is reporting links incorrectly.  I see links on a page like The New York Times Home page that are perhaps ten or more words long.

It makes me wonder if there is code on the page that breaks the link into two lines.  JAWS may ignore the code and NVDA may not.  If you send us the address of a page where you find such a link, we can look at it.  There may well be no problem, just a difference in presentation.

Try pressing NVDA+V and see if it works for you :)

P.S.: You have to do it while on your browser. If you do it on your Desktop window, for example, it won't work.

I have been experiencing the sluggishness since my laptop was updated to latest Windows version 1903.  It is more noticeable in Outlook and Firefox.  I think it is a Windows issue, that, in the past, disappeared with time.

Hello,
Yes, I usually work with LaTeX at the university, but this is focused
on primary and secondary education. The idea is that you can read
equations directly from the word, without making changes, thinking of
people with a more basic use of the computer. This is already
possible, but with complicated equations or less common symbols it
doesn't work as well.
