Hi Jackie,

Feel free to send them to me at info@... and I can have a look.

Are you using any add-ons?  If you press NVDA+Q then down arrow to "Restart NVDA with add-ons disabled" you can do that and that will confirm whether any add-ons are impacting things.

I realize it's kind of an old version, but it is still supported.

Basically, when I'm using Excel, everything just freezes. I can also
send the file that caused the problem, if requested.

Thanks.

i dont want extra informations to be read.
is there a solution that i turn off position information, but nvda

thanks again for all of your help, God bless you!

I don't know if you can change what it says when you go to the desktop. I
assume you are using Windows 10. It may be a question of changing something
in Windows 10. I very much doubt that NVDA has a way of changing such
announcements. also, how long have you been using NVDA? I suspect that if
you use it regularly for another week or two, you'll hardly be bothered by
the announcement.

If you don't want to hear level announcements, open the object presentation
dialog with control NVDA key o. Tab to announce position information. It's
a check box. Uncheck it with the space bar. Tab to the ok button and
activate it.

Hi Gene

Confirmed just went into my c: drive into my music folder with heaps of albums and it does not speak it only the file you are on and not the one of 2000 if you get what i mean.

My self i would rather the extra info but then again I am wondering if a profile could be setup to mention in one spot and not the other.

My self i would just leave it on just in case there are side effects like just seen.

Also in windows 10 version 1809 I do not hear desk top window either only only if it lands on a shortcut and says it.

So you only hear the short cut on the desk top not desk top window.

It almost sounds like it is trying to read a shortcut key that doesn't exist. I vaguely remember running into this somewhere before, but it's been a while and I can't remember where.

Can you provide the source of one of these anchors? Plus any styles that might be applying?

Has anyone heard this announcement before and if so, would you happen to know the cause and/or remediation? For example the link "Application Tips" is read

Hi ,

I need to understand something ...

Why is the documentation in English missing during the creation of the addon?

When I try to build the addon is missing the English folder and read.md/html files in the doc.

I do this from a pseudo copy of the repository to avoid damaging this, I do something wrong?

Do I have to create the "en" folder manually into doc folder? the readme.md file is well present in the root in this copy of the repository.

There is no module for this construction.

Thank you for You help.

Cheers.

Oh agreed there. I use latex to, not on windows but for now if the lag is too much try espeak or what ever you have or even a different 1core voice.

Good luck.

Thanks Sarah.

I still use Latex for creating technical documents so character-by-character feedback helps when embedding latex commands.

No issues here. But I don't type character by character as I don't need that but I think even word didn't give me any issues and I have the voice at 100 percent and nvda at about 50 or so.

Hello all

Has anyone else been having latency issues with the Microsoft David voice?

If I have character echo on, and type at my normal speed, it can't keep up at all.

It doesn't matter what application I am using,

I am using the latest version of NVDA and Windows 10/

Got a update notice this morning saying that weather plus 6.3 was

a error message that a file was missing or was a incorrect format.
Tried it twice with same results.
