Re: Problems With Weather Plus New Add On

Hi Ron,

What city are we talking about?

I have tried  and the comma is not pronounced when disabled.

You can very well try to paste the text (if you have activated the checkbox: copy to clipboard) and see if there are commas in the values.

In this new API the barometric status does not exist, but we can be be satisfied anyway, what do you say? :)

Anyway tomorrow I have to update that fixes to minor bugs, so if I have time to try your city it would be better.

Thank you

Regards

Adriano

I am getting odd readings from this new server for the Weather Pulse Add on.  For example, on my own city, I am getting a wind speed of 88 MPH.  It is actually 8 MPH.  I have seen this with some of the other world cities that I have included in my alternative cities list.

In addition, while the barometer readings are showing up properly, the state of the barometer is not being read--as in steady, rising or falling.

Using the older server, the barometric state was read, but for some reason, in my area, it never read anything else except steady--regardless of what was being stated on NOA radio or other apps.

And the comma delimited setting does not work on mmy system. That is to say, the check box is uncecked, but I still hear commas separating everything.

I want to lock the modifier what ever that is in terms of nvda. After all, I can do it in vo with the capslock or the vo keys with one key stroke, all the modifiers are locked no matter what I choose and I can just press let's ssay shift down to interact etc or f to find somethingn or g to find next. Look, one hand. Lol! I want to do this in nvda to make some of the command seaiser especially when I'm doing a lot at once.

Take care

You hadn't indicated, as I recall, that you had been having delivery problems from groups io lists.  That is very important.  When reporting a problem, don't leave out information unless it is clear beyond a doubt that it is irrelevant.  Groups.io sends unbounce messages to anyone who is bouncing.  If your account is bouncing, you won't receive some or all messages from the list serve from which it is bouncing.  Your e-mail is back so you are again receiving list mail.  The link was legitimate.

The reason you don't see a Groups.io part of the address must be because it isn't used in the unbounce links.  While you would expect to see a groups.io address, now you know what the Internet site is that is used in such links from Groups.io.  it's evidently the domain of the actual overall web site, like Go Daddy.

Re: help

Unbounce messages will be automatically generated if your e-mail service provider is detected as having bounced what would have been your incoming messages from groups.io.   The links to unbounce are perfectly safe, and if you don't activate them your e-mail from groups.io will not be making it to you until or unless you do.

A bounce is pretty much a "return to sender" event that Groups.io can detect.

I would just like to confirm, based upon the screenshot I have received thus far, that the characterization of the DropBox pop-up as invisible appears to be entirely accurate.

I can literally see nothing on top of the underlying screen and the only thing DropBox related is its process icon in the system tray.  That would not typically cause what's been described.

If others wish to send me more samples, I'll keep analyzing same to see if anything, no pun intended, pops up.

close it and open it again.  Typically, this is when the message hasn't

downloaded from the imap server.  If connection is slow or the server is

For those having issues in this dialogue it seems to be OK in Firefox 66 beta, as I just installed it and the listbox works correctly again, indeed the other issue of sometimes truncating the add on name seems better as well. I tested the 64 bit version.

As has already been mentioned, Sticky Keys is toggle-able, and almost everyone I know who uses it does just that. Even though the default toggle is five sequential presses of the SHIFT key, that can be done very quickly.

It would be nice to make the BrailleExtender feature of chosing two or more outpuut tables part of the standard Braille

the only BrailleExtender feature that I need.

Often, but not always, hitting Escape will dismiss these blasted things.  If anyone wants to try that (or has) and report back that would be a useful data point.

I found that, when I am in a program where pressing the alt key focuses menus or a ribbon, I can dismiss that dropbox pop up by pressing the alt key twice; once to focus the menus/ribbon and again to refocus the program window.

I find this work around to be less disruptive than alt tabbing away and back.
