Issue with Microsoft teams

Surendra JUJJAVARAPU

Namaskaram All,

I am facing an issue with Microsoft teams when I am trying to to check the title of the team chat. Nvda announcing wrong name of the the team chat.

For example if I am chatting with a person A in Microsoft teams, when I'm trying to check the title off the Microsoft team start. It is not announcing person a chat Microsoft teams. It is telling a different person name.

I am checking the title of Microsoft teams chat with insert plus t.

It is not happening all the time.

Can anyone tell what is the workaround for this.

Regards,
Jsurendra.

I should add that I can tab and move from link to link and hear them read but I can't read the message by downarrowing through it.

Also, links are written out in the text version. I believe some e-mail programs can read and follow them as links. If whatever program you use can't, you can copy and paste them into a browser.

If you download the file, don't click on the button if you are a free user, which means if you haven't paid for an account. It's dangerous because you may see hacked advertising that will try to install malware on your machine. Right click the button and use save target as or save link as or whatever name your browser calls the feature.

Hi,

Which GoldWave version and the add-on release are you using? Does this happen when you restart NVDA while focused on GoldWave itself, specifically while an audio file is open?

Cheers,

Sorry, having read through the Mozilla ticket, I've found:

bug, but would also like to keep tabs on NVDA's side as well.

Thanks.

(I don't use Desktops), both with Intel processors (I don't have a
machine with an AMD processor to test), as recently as with the
latest NVDA and Firefox versions. It is a frequently reoccurring bug
that is rather disruptive, and I hope its cause can be identified and
a resolution be reached soon.

Thanks.

It only ever happened with very specific websites.

And, to answer another question: I think I experienced this on an
AMD desktop years ago, but I so rarely use desktops that I can't be
sure that was actually the issue. I have run into it on three
laptops that I can think of.

Hi Nolan,

Thanks for sharing the links

Many of those updates go back a long time

There have been times where I could go months without this problem.

I have never associated this with the computer sleeping
However, there have been times when I came back to my computer in the morning  and discovered it locked up

I should have mentioned previously that I use espeak
I don't know if this is common to the problem

Stanley, from the NVDA settings, object presentation category, there is the option to change progress bar updates, if that's what you're referring to - I haven't used outlook myself for a very long time - and, the keystroke to cycle through the available options should be NVDA + U under desktop layout.
