NVDA 2018.3rc3 now available
Quentin Christensen
Hi everyone, As noted in several threads, there have been issues with iTunes, and also issues with installing and creating the shortcut in German. This morning we have released NVDA 2018.3rc3 which aims to address both of these issues. Find the release notes and links to download and the full what's new at: https://www.nvaccess.org/post/nvda-2018-3rc3-released/ Kind regards Quentin. Re: Automatic Reading of Footnotes in Word

Glad I could Help! For reading the comments of your tutors you don't need to convert the original word file. NVDA will announce when it will come across a comment while reading a document. Then, you can press NVDA+alt+C to read that particular comment. Additionally, you can press NVDA+F7 to bring up the elements list in word and can get the preview of all the comments in the document. You can even jump to the comment of your choice from the same.

Add-on Updater (proof of concept) September 14th build will now check updates for Windows 10 App Essentials
Hi all,
Add-on Updater (proof of concept) September 14th build is now available. After installing this build, if you happen to be using Windows 10 App Essentials (development snapshots, that is), you’ll find that you might be prompted to update that add-on, too. If this is the case, I recommend updating Windows 10 App Essentials first, and then update Add-on Updater.
Cheers, Joseph

I missed the beginning of this, but if you're looking for stuff that does notation, MuseScore can at least read it, rather you can read it with it, and some work was done on making adding notation accessible, but I haven't messed with any of it. Here's the main MuseScore page.

itunes issue handled
Hi.
Wow joseph and all, that was a really quick fix, itunes uia works now its just like it was. For now I have loaded rc3 on the effected machines and it works. Its good this came out during an near update cycle. What was actually wrong and did my descriptions help at all. Its good that all things work as expected though. I have all my systems on the latest itunes now. Thanks for promptly fixing.

Re: itunes latest issue
Is rc3 out now or is there a try build so I can check this?

I do have system access for the rest of the next day or so so if this is confirmed, I can probably put everything back.

LOL, not without waiting a year for the whole document to load, and that's with the preference in the reading settings changed to load entire document. What Adobe takes five minutes to do, QRead does in about ten seconds if that particular pdf is supported.

Re: google domains configuration web site seems inaccessible
Hope Williamson <isepic@...>
I'd say more and more Google pages are becoming less accessible. On the topic of the question, namesilo.com is a registrar I've used without any problem for about a year and a half now.
I believe you have 60 days to wait until you can transfer a domain, but I'd suggest waiting the 60 days, then transferring to NameSilo. Re: itunes latest issue
well you need to remove itunes 12.9 it does appear it has issues with things.
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
maybe you need to tell apple about this go to google search for itunes business, download that, remove itunes, delete your library*.itl files in your music folder, install itunes business, then re add all your folders back shouldn't take more than a few minutes to do that as they will be in your itunes media folder, you will have to sign in to the store and there is a button which I forgot to customise the menu for the dropdowns but then you will be fine. It does appear that there are access issues with itunes 12.9.

Hi Sean. I updated to 12.9 of iTunes and I’m having the same issues as your are. It sucks cause I listen to most of my Apple Music via iTunes on my PC and NVDA doesn’t read a thing. Narrator does, but I can’t press ent on any track to play it. It does nothing.
