I am using the beta version with NVDA and it works great. It does not
with JAWS 18.

i did not check portable versions of libreoffice recently.
but previous versions are not usable with nvda.
everytimes, when i opened one portable version of libreoffice, (i mean
version 4 portable), libreoffice crashed even sometimes by going to

i am sure that i did not test libreoffice 5.1 and newer portable and
have not idea in this regard.
but for more certainty, i recommend installed version of libreoffice.

The beeping sound while downloading something can be very helpful, but I
would like to get rid of it while listening to something on YouTube. There
is a beeping sound as I'm listening to the YouTube clip. Is there a way to
switch it off?

ClanWin does indeed run under (to quote from their website
http://www.clamwin.com ): "Microsoft Windows 10 / 8 / 7 / Vista / XP / Me /
2000 / 98 and Windows Server 2012, 2008 and 2003".

However (also quoting from their website): "Please note that ClamWin Free
Antivirus does not include an on-access real-time scanner. You need to
manually scan a file in order to detect a virus or spyware."

This in my opinion makes it rather less useful than many other anti-virus
scanners, however if your choice is limited to whatever will still run under
XP, then maybe it's a good enough compromise.

Hi, I wanted to make a little more detail.

I was talking about the descriptive feature that can be used with the last spring update. We used Microsoft's DLL library to do OCR.
I also think that we can give Microsoft a description of the visual content in the same way as DLL.

Clouds have become spectacular structures that can analyze very well data. And many of them offer a massive Python infrastructure. Since NVDA is encoded in Python, I thought we could resolve these points by making a deal.

Python's ability to deal with visual solutions has been accepted by the whole world. Yes, it's costly, but it's a wonderful thing.

It is a combo box use the up arrow key to go to off then tab down to ok then press the enter key.

The other options under that will be speak, speak and beep, beep and off.
