I've been doing some more testing and it seems like the .aac (iphone) and .stream (Android) links are correct, but the windows media player link has a typo: a space has been entered after the link in the .wax file. Copy and paste the following link into windows media player, or use one of the first two options in VLC.

Instead try being on the page of interest, hit file menu and save page as

I use it every day.  It's a bit quirky, for sure, but you can use it

with NVDA's object navigation keys and the tab and shift tab keys.

Here's the secret.

When you first open the program, NVDA doesn't quite focus on it.

Open the program, then alt tab to something else and alt tab back to

SuperAntiSpyware.  If you do that, you can move through the controls

with the object navigation keys.

When you find the check for updates link, you have to route the mouse to

it and left click.

When the update check finishes, shift tab to the ok button and press

spacebar or enter to click it.

At that point, the tab and shift tab keys magically come to life.

It's not the easiest program in the world to use, but it is usable, if

and only if you open it, move to another window and move back.  If you

don't do that, nothing works.

If you want to keep working with it, let me know and I'll give you

details on where everything is located.

It gets you part way there, but not all the way.   I have discussed exactly how to do this, on multiple occasions on this group, and now a pinned topic exists on the Windows 10 for Screen Reader Users group documenting the steps.

However, I have an MS-Word format and PDF format file of the step-by-step instructions for setting up what I call "topic preview," along with other things:

To add to this, not sure if this link will work, but you can also switch to followed topics only. This can only be done through the web interface though, but it helps if you want to see the start of a thread but not get every single message in that thread unless you specifically want to.

I am afraid I do not understand the previous post at all. iTunes is still very much alive and available Windows if not the Mac.
You can download iTunes from Apple from
https://support.apple.com/downloads/itunes
Once installed you can still sync your iTunes Music library with your iPhone via your lightning connector.

Having said that there are many more solutions to getting Music on your phone. These range from of course Apple Music, iTunes Match which I still use, and increasingly there are many other Cloud based solutions.
My personal favourite is to use CloudBeats CloudBeats to access Music on my DropBox an One Drive cloud storage.
For basic Music playing Open Drive is also an option with a simple iOS Music Player which will play all songs stored sequentially in a folder. It does little else but this may be all that you need.

If you provide more details as to what you want to do I can advise more.

Re: Audible and NVDA.

David Griffith

There are 3 options realistically I think.
The first involves installing the increasingly clunky Windows 7 legacy version of Audible Manager /Downloader. Actually I had to get Audible support to do this for me last year remotely as it was so problematic. It took even then about an hour to do and involved them patching in a separate downloader from the USA to make my installation work.
They agreed to do this when I explained I was blind and used the Victor reader Trek. Having done this though the system works, if clunkily fine with NVDA to download and transfer your books.
2.you can download a third party Audible manager program like Open Audible. The problem here is that for some strange reason the Open Audible setup has a setup sequence inaccessible to screenreaders. However it has been reported that after install it is completely accessible to NVDA and it downloads your purchased Audible Content successfully, though does not chapterise it.
3. Whilst I am unaware of any NVDA addons for the Windows 10 Audible app there are scripts available for Jaws if you are a Jaws user.

Hi!

As far as I can remember, you can only transfer a book to the victor stream by downloading the audible download and audible manager.I was the person who asked if NVDA HAD an add on for using the audible app as this not accessible with NVDA.

I'm thinking of getting a Victor Stream so I'll need to know how to
register it and transfer books and all. It doesn't look like I can do
it with the Windows 10 app, unless there are tips on making it work I
don't know about. Do you just use the older program rather than the
Windows 10 store version? Some stuff does work in the Windows 10
version, I was able to get signed in, but there are lots of lists that
don't read and unlabelled buttons. So I mean, even if I just wanted to
listen to a book I already own on the PC, I have no idea how to do that.
