Hi

Thanks, I haven’t altered my settings recently and it suddenly appeared but has now gone.  I have just checked the Vision settings, Enable Highlighting is half-checked but I’ve no idea what that means   and Highlight System Focus is checked.

Hi,

 

I’m using NVDA RC 2020.2 and the latest version of braille extender.

 

For sevral days, sometimes, I can hear text, but its not shows on my braille display, in this case QBraille XL

 

 

Please help with this .

Hi,

Do the following as exactly as I tell you:

1. Press NVDA key and Q to open Exit NVDA dialog.
2. From Exit NVDA dialog, select “restart with debug logging enabled” and press Enter.
3. Use NVDA as you would, including from files and folders list.
4. After the problem is reproduced, press NVDA key and F1, copy everything, and paste it as a private email to me (private email is required to protect privacy and to comply with debug log data policy on this forum). After I get the log and do some work, I’ll come back here and let folks know what might be happening.

Yes it still did so I should send a log.  Please explain how to do that please.

If I understand your message, which I may not have when I first answered it, you are saying that if you haven't read the material before, you can set the start place, then set the end place as you read. That's true. I don't know how many people select in that way. I don't recall ever selecting material unless I know already what I want to select.

Does the problem you are describing only occur on specific programs or in general?
