Re: Free .RTF file creater
No it is not. I cannot get it to work. And I don't think it is a spell checker per-say. It does highlight the misspelled word and your screen reader will say"misspelled." but no amount of right clicking that word will bring up any corrections. I have not gotten it to work on discord, on twitter, in the xbox app, basicallyanywhere. -- Sarah Alawami, owner of TFFP. . For more info go to our website. I will also note that with the rise of the grey market, starting in the EU, it is entirely possible to get MS-Office licenses for a song. And Office 2019 is now commonly available on the grey market since there have been a lot of computers that had it installed that are already being decommissioned.
I just bought an Office 2019 license from the grey market (on eBay, in this specific case) for a residential client that I will be installing later this afternoon. Back to SoftMaker Free Office, it includes TextMaker (word processor), PlanMaker (spreadsheet), and Presentations (equivalent of PowerPoint).
I also hadn't realized that it allows you to choose a ribbon or menu interface. I have not tested it extensively for accessibility, but it does have the "big three" program equivalents from the MS-Office suite. -- Brian - Windows 10 Pro, 64-Bit, Version 1909, Build 18363 Science has become just another voice in the room; it has lost its platform. Resource Monitor 20.07
#addonrelease
Hello everyone,
Resource Monitor 20.07 is now available. The biggest highlight of this release is a change to how Windows 10 releases are announced. Instead of “Windows 10verYYMM”, NVDA will now say “Windows 10 YYMM”. This was done for consistency with Insider Preview builds and to properly recognize Version 20H2, the next feature update under development.
As always the new add-on update is ready for you by asking Add-on Updater to check for add-on updates (phew, a lot of tongue twisters…). Enjoy. Cheers, Joseph

You probably can't get it as a stand alone program but if you install a JAWS demo, it will be installed and you can use it whether you are running JAWS or not. It may be more limited than people would generally want, but you can use it.

Wordpad does open many document formats but it doesn't have a spell checcker. JARTE is built on Wordpad and it has a spell checker and more features than just Wordpad. I havedn't used it much and I haven't kept it updated. You can read docx files with it but you used to need a Microsoft compatibility pack (spelling) installed to be able to do so because Jarte used, perhaps it still does, the old menu version of Wordpad for its base.
