Re: welcome screen on nvda

If you want the welcome screen back, Open NVDA help/Welcome
dialog. There is a check box there to show it every time.

Have you saved your NVDA configuration? Otherwise it will go back to the previously saved configuration

Hi
Every time I recieve what is classed as a Quality Update under Windows update log, I lose my chosen nvda voice. How can I stop this happening?
I do know how to get the voice back, thanks to Luke Davis, but it's a rigmorol that I would prefer not to have to do.

I confirm I have four dll in a Seika folder within the ZDSR installation folder. It must be what did the trick. Ciao, Ollie

i think that's what happened. Zdsr must have installed something. I was astonished when I saw that, by selecting Seika, my display was recognized immediately, while earlier i had to leav it on Automatic, and then I had the problems I described earlier. I was forced to use an old pm 40, with half of the cells half dead... Now realing braille feels like Paradise on earth! lol Unfortunately, all the suff within that screen reader is in Chinese, so I have no idea what can have been installed... I'll ask around in the forum, and see what I can find out. Ciao, Ollie

Someone may know of one. But this is important. While you can often reverse such do not show this again check boxes with a setting, you can't always and you should never tell a program not to show you something again unless you are absolutely sure you don't want it shown or unless you are absolutely sure you know how to reverse it. Just close whatever is being shown instead. You may save trouble and inconvenience by not activating such check boxes without real thought. Re: Using Google Actions console with NVDA
Patrick ZAJDA
Hello Quentin,
Thanks for your reply.
I want to develop Google assistant actions and in order to create Google actions, we have to use this website.
And as I want to develop using node.js I have to get my project ID on this website.
Now I succeeded in finding my project ID by clicking the button to change its language. When doing this I have another tab to change the name, get the ID and delete the project.
I'm going to contact Google accessibility support team.
Best regards,
Patrick

The reason you cannot install eloquence addon is because NVDA moved Two Python 3 and not all the add-ons are Compatible. You can visit the NVDA addons Official website to check the status of the compatible add ONS that you can install. hear is the link https://addons.nvda-project.org/index.en.html ובכבוד רב | Sincerely, אילנה בניש מורשה נגישות שירות 2200 | Eilana Benish, service Accessibility authorized (2200) ניהול פרויקטים – נגישות ושמישות אינטרנט וטכנולוגיות מידע | Projects manager – Accessibility & usability on internet and ICT 📱 +972-50-7100367 | 📧 benish.ilana@gmail.com

I've been using the eloquence for about three years without issues. So, what must have gone wrong. I don't have an answer (mostly because, at the same time, I need to ask: what is Google Actions Console?) I had a quick look but as I haven't created any projects it didn't have any project IDs etc there. Google now has a disability answer desk you can contact:
https://support.google.com/accessibility/answer/7641084?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&hl=en It might be worth asking them. Quentin.
