Well I have been playing eurofly for some time. if I kill nvda nice errrors come up, but as long as I don't kill it thats fine. The reall issue happened a few days ago but got worst today. I have obj pad, ventrilo which I use ffor testing but I have the beta addon well had because I now killed it and obj ppad. I had a few extra security addons on firefox and such but even so that was not the big issue at alll. I have easy table navigator installed to. I had firefox, a downloads folder open, and an audio track playing with winamp. I had just finished something with firefox 50.1 and closed it. Sometimes it crashes but mostly its fine at any rate I had finished with it. Nvda decided to be stuck in a table, this has happened before when quitting ventrilo but I have alt tab and its fine. This time it decided to lock, a thing it has done in the past. Half of the keys stopped working. The first time I exited and it came back. This time though, if I hit caps key and tab I was switching from scan to web to normal. So I assume something was making objpad or nvda in general think it was in a strange mode. No keys worked and I had to power off the computer and luckily it shut down. When I mean no keys, nothing read right at all. On a full reboot nvda now works but I have removed easy table nav, ventrilo, golden curser and objpad and hopefully things just work as they are supposed to. It only works with that combination of things open. It never happens if its one at a time though this game does use a lot of power. I have used it before with winamp and firefox open, never large radio broadcast archives I usually pause the game for those.

More on Firefox xp and older processors support
Brian's Mail list account <bglists@...>
Here is what you are pointed at if you do an update check when running on an Athlon or Sempron which has no sse2 support in its instruction set.
Your hardware is no longer supported If your computer has a processor older than Pentium 4, Firefox version 49 and above is no longer supported. If Firefox is already installed on your computer, you can continue using it but you will not receive updates beyond version 48. If you download Firefox version 49 or above and try to install it, you will see the message, Firefox cannot be installed. This version of Firefox requires a processor with SSE2 support. Like many programs, newer versions of Firefox require a processor that supports Streaming SIMD Extensions 2 (SSE2) for better security and performance. We recommend a computer with a Pentium 4 or newer processor that supports SSE2 to use the latest version of Firefox, which has more features, stability and security. Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) will continue to work with older processors but will not receive updates beyond ESR version 45. Firefox ESR version 52, scheduled for release in March 2017, will no longer be supported. Clear as mud in many ways, but from the AMD standpoint its clear enough. One supposes the second part of this might well point at operating systems like xp and Vista. Time marches on of course, and I suppose keeping track of special code to use different routines on very different processors and operating systems must be a minefield in itself. Brian

Windows sends a message to running programs when it returns from sleep or hibernation. The power notify add-on uses this to cause NVDA to beep as soon as the computer is awake. It also speaks when the AC adapter is plugged or unplugged. The add-on is pretty basic, but it gets the job done.

Re: OCR software?
Gene
You can't do what you want, as far as I can
tell. you can look at a PDF file in the Firefox viewer and you can move to
whatever page you want to read. If you just use read to all, each new page
will open automatically when you get to the end of the last page, thus allowing
constant reading online. You can manually move to the end of the opened
pages and then, if you up arrow a number of times and then start down arrowing,
the next page will open. At the top of the viewer, moved to by control
home, or you will be there when the viewer opens, are various controls.
You can move to the controls as you would on any web page since the controls are
part of a web page interface. Control home, as I said. If you move
below them, by movingt down the page, you can read whatever pages are currently
opened.
One button is to save the document. If you
want to open and save a document that is long, the only practical way is to use
the save button. If a document is only a small number of pages, you may
want to open the entire document in the cumbersome way I described or maybe
there is another way to open one page at a time. I've hardly played with
the Firefox view and I haven't learned all the ways to cause a document to
open. But whatever ways exist, it appears that you can only open one page
at a time. Then the pages above that page will still be in the
viewer. So if you want to open an entire document, it appears you will
have to open one page at a time, then copy the entire document to the clipboard
and paste it into notepad. Or you may be able to open the entire document
and use save as to save it as a text file. I don't know. I haven't
played with the menus enough to know what you might be able to do while in the
viewer.

Jarte doesn't need Office installed. All you
have to do is install the compatibility pack which makes Word and some other
