Joseph has done it with the windows 10 essentials add on and the weather one is slightly different but does the same idea.

I think they are looking into having it done but things have to be worked out.

I would rather pick my own add ons and if down the track once installed they alert me of the update then download automatically then install no problem with that.

But i do not like the idea of having all add ons even the ones i do not want come down if i do not use them.

I am sure when one time i downloaded a copy of window eyes it automatically got them maybe even the ones i did not want.

Some people might not have alot of space on there hard drives.

Hi

Use the nvda key + letter N to get into the preferences of NVDA, then go
down to tools, a sub menu will appear, then go down to manage add ons
then press the enter key.

When you go into that section it will tell you what add ons you have
installed, but you will be looking for a button called get add ons then
press the enter key.

your browser will open to the place where the add ons are for the
project. Go down to the one that was mentioned you should be able to
jump down by headings then there will be a link to the page where it is.
Locate the add on there and either install it from there which i think
if i remember well can be done or download it to your computer then
install it from there.

There are tutorials on how to do it if you have not done it before.

the info for the add on can be found on the page on how to use it or if
you do it through the manage add ons section either help or the one
after it most of them now will take you up to that page when pressed on.

hope this helps.

Hi

I do have a tutorial on using microsoft edge, the creators update for
windows 10 fixed some of the problems like the speaking of characters
into the location bar etc.

I guess advantage it is the same on the phone as it is on when you use a
desktop computer and maybe save your bookmarks etc to be used on both.

apart from that i am not sure.

There is a tutorial if you are interested which can be found at
http://www.accessibilitycentral.net/nvda%20tutorials%20for%20other%20programs.html

You can jump down by headings to the ones that says about how to use
microsoft edge with NVDA.

It is more like a overview and the basics of using it.

Yesterday I used a computer with the 2017.1 version of NVDA and it offered me to update to the 2017.2 that was just released.
So if you don't have the latest version, it should propose you to update.
To check which version of NVDA you have,
open the NVDA menu with nvda+n,
choose help (with the up arrow keys) or type h
choose about with up arrow or type a.
You will hear the content of the displayed dialog alert in typing nvda+b.
This should be nvda 2017.2
I hope this helps!

Upon using objPad for a bit I can say that it is excellent at what it
does! I wanted a jaws-like-cursor for NVDA? I got one and in fact its
so awesome because it takes the old jaws cursor along with the jaws
touch cursor and rolls them into one yet its even easier to use! I
really really like objPad and will be telling everyone about it. And I
may have found another free synthesizer addon for NVDA for all of us
to use. For personal use only, not commercial use... It is called
soft-voice and it sounds similar to eloquence but better than eSpeak.
I have one or two more things to check out with the soft-voice tts
makers but once I do and everything is go then I'll let all of you
know the final verdict on soft-voice tts. I can tell you that it
sounds a bit like eloquence but it only supports english and spanish
languages. and that it has a bunch of interesting novelty voices along
with the normal voices and its very small and fast and responsive. I
will not post it here though until I'm certain its fine with the authors.
