Okay fine, I accept it as such. I always try to look at the very basics before coming to a conclusion that there's a serious bug. In this situation the maximise state of the window clearly makes no difference.

Yes but the Outlook webmail you're talking about is probably the Exchange one, which is not what I'm primarily using. I do have an Exchange account but never really used it at all.

It makes no difference whatsoever. Something changed after the 2010 office suite and now the older ones do seem to exhibit some odd behaviour, like having a broowse mode under certain conditions which should not bbe there. I guess its some kind of detection of the wrong app, ie it thinks its wrd?

You are right about the F2 key. It only recently started this annoying behaviour. Another problem I have found in Ms Excel 2010 is that, when I read the cells, NVDA tends to repeat the previous cell's information instead of reading the current cell. Re: Lite version of Outlook.com
When I went into the general setting > lite version I can't even tick the check box; as the check box appears to have been disabled. I don't know why Microsoft would force people on a modern browser to use the full version; Google's Gmail offers a basic version on all browsers, even on modern ones. And abandoning Outlook.com entirely is not an option as I have to maintain my Office365 subscription. But using Thunderbird, however, is a possibility, the only downside is that it doesn't sync the addressbook with Outlook.com and as of yet I still don't know how to do that in Thunderbird.

Hi
I had a sus for my self. it looks as though it has been stopped in later versions of internet exploder and mozilla fire fox etc.
I do have a windows 10 machine with internet exploder 11 and the latest version of mozilla fire fox.
Click on the settings menu (a flower shaped icon) Arrow down to Options and press Enter Tab around the page until you finally get to General Click on general and press Enter Tab once to go down the list and arrow until you hear Lite Version Tick the checkbox Use the Lite version of OUtlook it also gave me a message that after certain versions it was not supported and also the option was not available in outlook.com it used to work for me, but not sure if it changed when i went to windows 10 or not. I know when i did notice it i could not really move in it i had to tab etc so set it up in mozilla thunder bird to get those emails and have done that ever since. Re: Can I Route Mouse Pointer to Browse Mode Cursor?
Kenny <kwashingtonlist@...>
What I do while in Browse mode to locate the table containing the cell I want:
1. Press [t] key to navigate quickly to the table you want. 2. Press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+([Up Arrow] or [Down Arrow]) keys to navigate to the row you want. 3. Press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+([Right Arrow] or [Left Arrow]) keys to navigate to the column you want.
NVDA reads everything so it will be quite easy to reach the table cell containing the exact data you want to manipulate.

hello, i also wnat to know this, alos what is the best way to navigate tables?
From: Kenny Sent: Sunday, October 23, 2016 1:10 AM Subject: [nvda] Can I Route Mouse Pointer to Browse Mode Cursor?
Hello,
I'm a new user of NVDA so I'm in the mist of learning about it. Was using JAWS exclusively for the past 15+ years.
I've always been better at learning something when getting a program to do something specific to my needs.
Here's the scenario.
I'm able to navigate to a clickable DHTML element on a web page while in Browse Mode. It's contained within a table (Row 1, column 6.) I located this element first by simply using the down arrow key. Confirmed the exact cell location by using the [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[Right Arrow] key combination.
Now when I try using the Review cursor to locate the same clickable DHTML element, it doesn't see it at all. It simply says the word "Blank" while over it.
The special route mouse function ([Insert]+[/ on numpad]) only works with the review cursor. Is there a way of having the route function work for the Browse mode cursor too?
Even though I'm able to activate that clickable element from within Browse mode by hitting the [Enter] key, there might come a time that I want the mouse pointer to left or right click it instead.
Some elements like this even bring up a sub menu when you mouse over them too.
Any ideas how to approach my query?
Is it possible to create a route mouse pointer to browse mode cursor add-on for NVDA?
How about having the ability to assign a text label to an element visible in browse mode only, so you can find it easily with the review cursor and perform functions on it?
Hope I'm making sense to someone out there LOL!
Thanks for any suggestions.
