Re: NVDA 2019.2.1 installer

Just downgraded, and everything works as before, including Vocalizer and the reading of MathType equations.
Until these issues are fixed (especially the MathType equation reading issue), I think I'm going to stay on the 2019.2.1 release for now.

Hi Roger,

As the last stable version is not compatible with NVDA 2019.3, you have to ignore this update.

It will be OK when the actual dev version will be stable.

Re: the NVDA 2019.3 version of Screen Curtain

Giles Turnbull

thanks Joseph and Tyler for the double activation method for making screen curtain permanently active. The original addon didn't require this since it didn't have a temporary mode, and the screen curtain of the 2019.3 doesn't mention how to make the screen curtain function persist between restarts.

Tyler, there isn't a checkbox in the vision section of preferences which is why I was suggesting maybe there could be :)

You need to select what type of donation you want. Either you have a set of radio buttons on the Download page, or a set of buttons on the donate page.

It would appear so, as of version 3.0, but for the best email experience when dealing with multiple emails, use Thunderbird. I'd look in their news section to see if that is supported anywhere. I didn't pay for the pro version.

As to tylors question, that's a good question. Let me know what the developer says when you ask them that question.

Hi

The website has been zipped you will need a program to unzip it. You can also do it with windows explorer but may be better to make a folder then put the files into it that is easy to find. Then it is a matter of just going to the index file with in the folder and pressing the enter key on it and use it like normal. As long as people have internet access they should be able to access audio files  etc.

There may be another tutorial been added on later this week so will update the link to the drop box account then.

I will let people know then.

The drop box link is https://www.dropbox.com/s/fh0ke305t6afduw/Accessibility%20Central%20Website.zip?dl=0

The people we host with were alerted when i first noticed it and it has to be fixed on there end. I do not know when it will be back up but hopefully it is ASAP.

I guess this is maybe what you get some times when you host with a free provider? with no adds and only have to pay for the domain name.

It sounds pretty serious like the server hard drive took a dive?

If any one wants to access the material on it at present I can zip it up and drop box it until it comes back on line.

This will only be the website files not the audio files as every one has access to the internet mostly.

You will then need to unzip it and put it into a folder with the files. Then it is a matter of just accessing the index file for the website.

I might again even look at other options for hosting.

Let us know and can drop box to the list.
