Re: NVDA remote.

Kenny Dog <hurrikennyandopo@...>

Hi

Is this only between 2 users? When the remote add on was released some
people could not work it out or it was 2 technical for them.

The guide for it can be found under the nvda add ons section in NVDA.
Look for the help section for that add on, then press the enter key and
it will be there.

If you are interested i did rewrite the tutorial on how to use it
between 2 people and there was a written version done as well as a audio
version done as well.

The tutorials can be found on my nvda audio tutorials page at
http://accessibilitycentral.net/nvda%20audio%20tutorials.html

You will have to jump down by heading to a section I think it is called
how to provide assistance to another user using the remote add on or
some thing like that.

There are steps under that.

I have not written any thing so a person can remote in from home or some
where else into a machine that has no one at it.

hope the tutorials help.

It may depend on what programs you run. but I've seen, on this list, an
instance where someone had serious problems with Windows Live Mail that were
solved by reinstalling. of course, people can choose not to reinstall if
they find they aren't having problems. But I've seen the recommendation to
reinstall made by one or more knowledgeable persons.

i use skype 6.21 with nvda 2015.4 and i dont have any problem.
if you check accessibility in skype settings, skype works well with

in the preferences and then general options, make shure that Save

after exiting nvda, you have all settings and configurations that you

hope that help.

I was wondering, when ever I am reading something, and I press control
home to go to the top of the document how can I get the cursors to
match where I am going? I press my up and down arrows, but they are
in the same place where I left off.
I’m sorry if this isn’t making any sense, but I’m new to NVDA, so I’m
learning.
Thanks,
Chris

Those who follow the Messenger-Prophet, the Ummi, whom they find
written down with them in the Taurat and the Injeel [who] enjoins them
good and forbids them evil, and makes lawful to them the good things
and makes unlawful to them impure things, and removes from them their
burden and the shackles which were upon them; so [as for] those who
believe in him and honor him and help him, and follow the light which
has been sent down with him, these it is that are the successful.
