              I have sent a message directly to NVAccess about this.  I suspect this is just a complete snafu as far as what someone did with naming, and that took all the way down the line, even to the name of the executable.

              If it were actually the 2019.2 executable, not the 2020.1RC1, it shouldn't even install over 2019.3.1 if that's what had been on someone's system.

              In any case, whatever is going on, it needs to be corrected so that, as the old saying goes, "The carpet matches the drapes."

Something odd is going on here, and I suspect it is an issue with the name used.

But, since I did download, even the EXE file is named 2019.2.rc2.exe, so it could be that there was an accident in resending of an old announcement.  But this did come from the NVAccess RSS feed.

Clarification will very likely be forthcoming shortly.

Hi:

I am using Outlook 2019 with NVDA. Often, if I am typing a message, my
computer locks up. The only thing I can do is ctrl_alt_del arrow to the
Power Button and either restart or shutdown. Is it possible this has to do
with an interaction with NVDA and Outlook 2019. It happens so often that I
am forced to write messages in Notepad, Select All, and paste the message
into an Outlook message. This never locks up.

i know the excellent program that even restoring backup is accessible
for screen readers.
in the past, it was not freeware unfortunately.
i dont know about current versions of it.
the program is drive snapshot.

You could use any backup & recovery suite of your choosing, but I wrote a
tutorial several years ago on using Macrium Reflect Free to take backups.

only once.  The second is the set of step-by-step instructions for actually
taking the backup.  In this day and age of ransomware, I do not recommend
that backup drives remain attached to a machine other than when a backup is
being taken or a recovery performed.  Any drive that's attached if
ransomware hits gets encrypted, and in the case of a backup drive that makes
having the backup pointless.

We now have confirmation that the Windows 10 from Version 1703 onward has allowed you to invoke Narrator when installing.

Now I'd like to steer this back to the original question:  Does anyone have the "Talking Windows PE" ISOs with NVDA packaged in them?

I wish I had downloaded these way back when but I didn't.  Google gives 15 GB of free drive space on Google Drive with any Google Account, so it should easily be possible to host these again if someone has them available for upload.  I may also have enough space on my Amazon S3 space, but I'm not sure.  But a definite source is needed first.

I really was expecting ISO files, which the originals were for all the ones I'd ever seen or dealt with previously.
