Maybe not...

By instance, I have a profile for all mail programs... If I put something in a specific dictionary for that profileit will be applied to all mail programs and that can be undesirable....

As many have already noticed, NVDA 2020.1 Release Candidate 1 is available.  I'd encourage everyone to please download and test this, as if no bugs are found in this, it will be just about identical to the final release.  You can read all about the new features in this version as well as download it, from https://www.nvaccess.org/post/nvda-2020-1rc1-now-available-for-testing/

As well as the release candidate, in this week's In-Process, which also came out today, find out about upcoming Web #A11y events (including #ID24) and some tips on navigating text effectively in NVDA, all in this week's In-Process: https://www.nvaccess.org/post/in-process-30th-april-2020/

thanks for the reply. but in jaws it will say for example bullet link home. but when i disable screen layout the it is saying like bullet and at next line and i will say link home. but jaws will say bullet link home and if we press enter without moving focus it will bee clicked. but in NVDA i cant implement this. NVDA is really great. i think it is posible. please tell if it is posible.

It gives you a speech dictionary for each application you’re running. As an example you have the speech output “Mark has joined the meeting” within Zoom. I want to replace it to “Mark joined”, but only in Zoom and not in other apps. So when you are in Zoom press shift-NVDA-P and enter the dictionary entry for the Zoom app only.

I think you can do it with NVDA+V.

It doesn't use intuitive screen layout and items are stacked one after the other.

I may have confused the shortcut.

Reading commands that work (for Bryan)

Earlier this month you sent me a couple of commands and a suggestion that I use the NVDA+n h q commands to access keyboard commands. I figured out that I needed to turn off the numlock to get somethings to work. However, What is the appropriate command to read only the current screen? And, how does one find a specific command in the quick guide? I am basicly a Notepad and text file user. Unfortunately, I am having to learn how to use Google Chrome!  Also, I will probably have to move from my preferred win7 PC to my win10 PC as well. At the moment Grandpa DOS is not the happiest camper. SMILE?

There were discussions on GitHub about it and there was a talk about producing a pull request for inclusion in NVDA. At the moment NVDA developers are focusing on pull request backlog.
