NVDA 2019.3 frequently gets stuck in frames in Firefox (I am using
Firefox 67 currently). I seemed to be able to repeat it consistently on
this page:

content NVDA+f5 works, and sometimes NVDA+ctrl+space works, and
sometimes I have to restart NVDA. Pressing tab moves through the
elements on the page, but the arrow keys only read the frame content. I
tried the new beta, but it also gets stuck. I am running Windows 10. Do
other people experience this, or is there some quirk in my setup? Thanks.

The Basic Training for NVDA has an entire chapter on the review cursor,
followed by one on object navigation (the two concepts go hand in hand).
As it happens, the chapter on the review cursor is the one which is

I think the golden cursor does some thing like that. I know it can do hot points  like in a scanner program I had the graphics had a picture or graphic so you could as it was only accessed with a mouse put it on the graphic do a hot point for it you could do a few for other areas as well then wen you went into the app use the elements list go to the one you want and the mouse would go to that area then I could use it.


Best bet is give it a whirl and see if that does the trick. You can also move the mouse with arrow keys etc.

My actual Podcasts on Speak On are being distributed by Talking Computers on a monthly basis and will appear on the Speak On website a month later but you can find all the recordings below on SendSpace links which will hopefully not be an issue. If there is an issue then I will try and put them also on Open  drive.

 

The main Speak On app is being continuously maintained by Isaac the Program developer though he has no intentions to do major revisions of the app.

 

The series is not complete as there will be further Podcasts on the RNIB Daisy magazine Service, using the Podcasts app and the Music app to follow.

I actually intend to replace and re-record the eBook Podcasts as half - way through the volume increases which is a little distracting.

The only thing I could find about speak on is the below website? The last update was 2016. Is there a newer version I'm missing? It seems like it's a media player rather than a book reader so if anybody has an updated link, put it in the thread.

My understanding is that all add-ons shown on the NVDA Community Add-Ons Main Page are compatible with whatever the current version of NVDA happens to be at a given moment in time.

Quite a few of the ones on the Under Development Add-Ons Page are as well.

The Legacy Add-Ons Page includes ones only compatible with some former version or versions of NVDA.

Clipspeak is showing on the Community Add-Ons Main Page.

What? I thought clip speak doesn’t work for the latest version of NVDA. I uninstalled it thinking it will not work.  I’ll try to get it back.

I would go to copy a file but it would not copy it or some times it

would  then i could paste it.

 

 

But have nto used it for a long time so that bug might of been fixed.

 

 

I am sure it was that add on? if you have it disabled  it then try and

copy a file etc and see if it does the job if yes properly a few times

then re enable the add on and see it it mucks up again..

 

Then if that is the case it is that add on.

 

 

I think it might of been based off the fake clipboard add on?

Thanks! I'm not sure how I missed that add on because I get RSS alerts for any new thing NV Access puts out or the community add on puts out. Great add on! I still think the scan mode should be merged into NVDA core at some point. Is this add on registered with add on updater?

First, where do we submit feature requests, not bugs. Do we submit a pull request?

The feature I find using most often, ironically, isn't even an NVDA feature. I use Narrator's scan mode to actually get to inaccessible controls and otherwise for various reasons. I get it that we have object navigation and the review cursor and otherwise, but how hard would it be to replace object review with scan mode?

If not replace, what about just adding it in, period? That being said,

where do I go to make this suggestion? Do I file a pull request? I thought those were only for bugs.
